I climbed the pole to find out why the yard light bulb quit. The bulb was shattered, and the reason was a bullet hole that entered at a steep angle from the top. All I could tell was that someone who lived southeast of our farm had fired a bullet up into the air and it just happened to hit our yard light.
What goes up must come down.
