39.48, -82.98 | I have a question and, with your experience, you might know the answer.
When it left the barrel, that bullet was spinning over 180,000 RPM. I assume that it was still spinning that fast at the target. This should stabilize its orientation. So, would you expect it to turn nearly 90 degrees in 24 seconds? That's a lot of air...but I would expect it to print a keyhole as it hit. It's an amazing shot...but that photo looked almost "too" amazing. | |
