"Other areas may be drastically different". That in itself is an interesting statement. As humans we want to believe "our farm, our area" is incredibly unique from anything else. In reality differences are pretty minor in how soils respond to notill across most acres.

What you wrote here from way down south is exactly the wording I could have penned as it mirrors my experiences the past 25+ years in southern WI! We have completely different growing conditions and weather, however if you study what's needed to make notill work in your area it's very likely it will. The only person I know that it won't work for is Paul the Original from MN because he's told us it won't work on his farm. For a dozen years or more.
