Looking at getting either a 10 wheeler grain truck or single axle semi with a 24ft hopper bottom. I have no experience with a single axle truck and trailer that size, and am wondering how well it will get in and out of very tight bin sites. Bin sites have sheds surrounding them and cannot be altered. Would only be used from field to bin which is not more than 10 miles on country roads.

How maneuverable is a single axle and short hopper bottom vs a 10 wheeler?

A semi that short could probably do a figure 8 inside the turning circle of a similar capacity straight truck. With a little practice the semi would go places too tight for the straight truck, as long as you have good traction.
