Tuscola, IL | We may have been lucky but I bought a single axle international truck for around $10,000 back in 2014. It was 15 years old at the time with ~400k miles. Not perfect but in good shape. Then the real steal was a 24’ Maurer single axle trailer in the spring of 2015 with electric tarp and most of the paint still on the inside of the trailer for $12,000. I’m sure it wouldn’t be the greatest setup for most but coming from a couple of mid 70s Chevy single axle gas trucks, I couldn’t be happier. | |
