I don’t know on specific units. Any combo with pivot point is slightly harder to back up. But I suspect it could back up sharper, tighter. But requires more of driver. (As you can’t see edges often)
I would go strait truck myself. Assuming similar cost/capacity…
The advantage to separate is one power unit runs multiple trailers.
