| One of the best PAP bulls of all time was N Bar Emulation EXT. He gained popularity when "breeders" started trying to fix all the train wrecks in cow herds that followed the bigger is always better hype. Fix udders, fleshing ability etc, in one generation. He wasn't a very big bull. One thing he often didn't fix was disposition. The last I knew he was the most popular AI bull of all time. There were/are quite a few Angus bulls that can't handle the stress of high elevations. I remember seeing a study that those same cattle are also are less able to handle pulmonary stress a lower elevations.
I t would be interesting to out the age and weight of those dead cattle on average and the correlation if any and if there was also a correlation to feed additives. | |
