Heavy AC use will favor the electric because it is using an electric motor to drive the AC pump. Gas car drives the pump with engine power through a belt. Both more lossy than a direct electric drive. Then factor in the big one, which is the extra heat load generated by the ICE, fed to the radiator, and then blasted rearward toward the firewall and windshield to be transferred to the cabin.
Heat requirements during cold weather will favor the ICE.
