Watt of utility power is cheaper than a watt produced from gasoline in the internal combustion engine, and even if those costs per watt were equalized the EV can more efficiently use power than IC engine.

Right now a KWH of utility power is cheaper than a KWH of power from gasoline even at 100% efficiency. That's an anomaly, historically not the case, maybe intentional by biden, I don't think he knows who the president is, much less what the president's policy is.

Historically, coal produced electricity was more expensive on an energy basis (BTU-kwh etc), but less expensive than the power produced from a gasoline engine (hp/hr). If you're talking about a solar panel producing power, then an EV is more efficient. If you're talking about burning natural gas to produce electricity to charge an EV, it's less efficient than burning it directly. I know you don't believe that, do your own research.

The only reason electricity is cheaper than gasoline is that natural gas is still relatively cheap, utilities get better pricing on natural gas, and to some degree renewable energy is subsidized. MOSTLY, not because it is more efficient.
