Concerning if you read into the article and see what one of the major issues they are trying to solve, which is expansion when charging. Kind of reads like they are making bombs and you have to wonder about enclosure manufacturing defects that would lead to catastrophic failures during charging. We see computer batteries fail rather frequently and bust the laptop casing, which is much lower voltage/capacity and older lith-ion tech.
