In my area most of the guys spray crossways, doesn't matter if it's green, yellow red or orange none of them will follow a row unless they are ok driving 8 - 10 mph without auto steer, if they want to use auto steer and run at 14-18 mph they go crossways. Have quite a few running large floatation tires that won't fit down a row so they always run crossways.
