Subject: Re: 2100 steering wander

SE Nebraska, Near Misery and Cans Ass!
Devin, Just a very little play in the steering cylinder ends will cause that. I put zerks in the last set I got and they are holding up well..If you re phase the steering is it better for a short time? The steering valve is easy to change. Could get them from the surplus center or Bolins can repair them sometimes. Hard right and hard left should feel the same and the steering wheel should turn fairly slowly at the end of the turn and the same rate both ways. The steering cylinders can leak internally and cause wander, They are not hard to kit. Check the rear wheel toe in and make sure your wheels are spaced exactly the same front and rear. An inch difference makes a lot of difference in steering.
P.S. Missed the part about you having new ends. Check your suspension height to make sure all four bags are set the same also if the bushings are shot in the rear legs it will wander and make toe in adjustment impossible.
