SW KS | Obviously you do not have enough experience either. There are to many variables which are unknown for anyone to give advice other than do not do it. I (guarantee) if you weld on a new tank which has never had anything in it, and it is sealed, long enough it will explode to the magnitude that you will not want to be anywhere around. You are ASSUMING that the tank is well vented. You are ASSUMING no sparks will get to fuel vapor. I have seen new tanks explode while being welded on. I have welded on live Nitrogen, Jet Fuel, Gasoline, Oxygen and Rocket fuel lines with no problems. Like I said, you need to know what you are doing, or you are just rolling the dice. | |
