In my area, (SW KS) I've heard repeatedly that it is impossible to follow 30" rows with a JD sprayer. I have a neighbor running almost new one and I saw him spraying yesterday going directly across his corn rows.

Interesting. I rode with an operator last year outside of Waterloo, IA that was following 15" soybean rows all day long without a problem. It was very impressive. I don't recall the tire size but they were definitely narrow. However, this was not a Deere sprayer.....

We have large cooperative here in Central Iowa that if the customers will not allow them to spray across the rows, contracts out their 20" corn spraying because they can not get their Deeres to follow the rows.
