I told my buddy one day that we should just trade dads and jobs. Seems I can't do no wrong for his dad, he can't do no wrong for mine but when we work with our fathers neither one of us does a damn thing right!

You mean there are other sons that find they cant do no right for their fathers? I am soooooo happy to hear I am not the only one.


I wonder if my boys will think I am a horses patoot too.


All depends I guess........ all I can suggest is that if they make a mistake, let them know. But just as important is if they do a good job, let them know it too. No matter how old they are.
If they are working on a project, dont come in and tell them they are doing it all wrong and need to start over doing it your way. If they want to build something, let them build it their way so they can see their own mistakes later. All of this within limits of safety of course.
