Subject: Re: Insight counts too many acres

I ran the insight this spring planting and was also surprised as to how many acres is added by the 10" overlap, putting the seeder into the ground to start the run, seeding the draws and ditches etc. on one field in particular my boundary said 170.3 and I thought I was being pretty efficient in over seeding, but two passes that were less than half width caused my acres to be 190. My liquid setting was at 28 gal / acre, but my total gallons was 5320. divide that by 170 and my true avg is 31. Making me think that maybe I should add some zone valves. But before we had the ez steering and the insight we must have been putting way to much on..
