Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
The Insight will default to using GPS as the speed source with radar as a backup. There is no calibration for the GPS speed. The setting can be changed to using radar as the source if you desire. Check you setting in the configuration.

The GPS speed is generally very reliable. The acres on the Insights that I have worked with have always been very accurate.

With other monitors we have found that the operators are overlapping more than they realized thus getting more acres.

This is unlikely with the Insignt since looking at the Zoomed In map will show you the amount of overlap or skip very clearly.
