I had a calf born like this 2 years ago out of a heifer except it was both front legs. One leg recovered the other did not and eventually swelled up and became infected. We had the vet out 3 different times after birth but eventually had to put the calf down. Hope you have better luck than me. My calf was out of a salebarn purchased heifer and the calf weighed 120 lbs at birth. Lesson learned there. Good luck to you.
