North Cental Mo. | I cut them, usually at spring work, but sometimes wait until fall. Most folks including myself cut when it is best for them and their operation, I see no absolute wrong time or right time. Banding, I have absolutely no use for the little green cheerio bands, I've done way to many butcher jobs of banding screw ups. And I bet the folks that did them all said they could count to two, and that is great I'd lot rather see a single nut than a piece of one. The larger banders with the rachet seem to work fairly decent, but a knife goes back to KISS.. (keep it simple stupid)
