NW Wisconsin | X2 Guys get worked up about this all the time. The assessed value is part of it and the mill rate or the levy is the other. Assessed values around here are increasing because they are so far behind on what the things are actaully worth.... So yes the assessed values will go up but doesnt mean your taxes will. Last year my assessed values went up 30% but my effective tax from the previous year was down about 5% because the mill rate lowered... | |
