| Drinking coffee this morning and the subject of covering (plugging) the exhaust of tractors being hauled came up. Most everyone said it needed to be done to protect the turbo, but I wonder if this isn't an old farmer's tale. My reasoning is that how could it spin the turbo when the air can't flow through it. The air would have to flow through the engine, and on all the cylinders at least one of the valves would be closed. What to you think? Do I have to eat crow along with my coffee in the morning? | |
