Supposing you have run across the platform in as is condition ???? I would suggest 10 load cells under 5 crossbeams, if you still have over your allowance of deflection when loading, the long beams could be trussed between crossbeams. I have a concern with the end cells being 5' from the end, may work fine at first but could cause problems over the long haul from excessive movement of structural pieces.

I have had the honor of rehabing 2 scales over the years and the cells were always placed around the perimeter of the platform. One thing to bear in mind,,,, in my business everything is severely overbuilt,,,, I would assume for liability issues........

Check this out,,,,, I was able to mark up your drawing,,, way beyond my normal skills!!!!!
