I agree!
It isn’t anything new though. I remember hearing my Dad cussing up a storm 40-50 years ago. He would often say, “They should give the guy who designed this a great big pension so that he could retire and not have to make any more pieces of crap like this ever again.”
Some times I wonder if the engineers get paid a bonus if the equipment is so hard to repair and requires so many special tools that the owner has little choice but to send it to the dealer for a $90/hr mechanic.
Being the stubborn Dane that I am I’ll do a lot of knuckle skinning myself before I’ll pay someone those kind of wages to fix things.
