We get paid on dry bushels, and pay drying charges on the same amount. Talked to a neighbor and He says His cost to dry---fuel, elec, repairs-not replacement cost, labor, -- is about half what the elevator charges. He hauls some in wet and some dry. Dryer is too small to keep up. Also He ends up with the ACTUAL BUSHELS out of His dryer--- not the elevators shrink chart.
