Canton, OH & South Central PA | Gary...I think I will get an IFTA sticker rather than permits. I had an IFTA sticker on a truck in 2000 and filed quarterly. No big deal other than the state (OH) got upset when I did not drive the truck for almost a year. I sold the truck shortly after that time and am just now getting into it again. Previously I had farm plates on it, no DOT number or ID, and no CDL. I was driving it "fat, dumb, and happy". Now I want to do it the right way but sure seems to be a hassle knowing everything to do. It takes the fun out of my hobby (trucks and tractors)! Maybe I should just rent a truck/trailer whenever I need it. One year of renting will cost me more than I am paying for this truck. |
