Chippewa County, MN | I switched from Case/IH to an R62 Gleaner two years ago. In hindsight, I probably should have stayed with red, but I couldn't get a decent offer on a red one at the time. I just can't get the quality of sample out of the Gleaner as I did with the 1660 I had before that. For the horsepower, I feel I also got more productivity out of the axial flow. I agree that if you're looking at an R62, you should be looking at a 21 or 2388 also. As for the flex head, I do feel Gleaner has the edge there, but I have not run the newer series of Case/IH head.
My big issue for switching was a good Agco dealer 20 minutes away verses an hour for the Case/IH dealer. | |
