The Case 66 and 88 are great machines however the 62 is more equivelent to the 88 than the 66. If you like bin space, the 62 is the clear winner. It is just a little more machine than the 88 in that department. It would be a lot more machine than a 66 so try and compare apples to apples. Electronics on both Case and Gleaner are not as involved in the time period you are interested in and may reduce need for intense dealer support. Probably both machines would be quite effective. The gleaner buyer needs to be aware of its higher upkeep rotor bar and helical situation and the case has some issues with the bushings and rails in its cleaning system. Both can be expensive problems. If you do your own repairs, generally the gleaner is easier to work on especially the rotor and cage area. The case has tremendous rotor and vane life but when it does need repair, removal and service is more difficult and involved. Good luck either way.
