Almost everyone in our area owns a smooth roller. I always pull it behind the cultivator on the last pass before planting corn. The planter has no bounce to it on this soil. We also use it after no till and conventional planting soybeans and white beans that will be clipped. It rolls the stones and ridges down to make clipping alot easier.
