I'm not sure I would roll conventional tilled beans. When rolling beans either no tilled or strip tilled between last years corn stalks the corn stalks and rootballs support most of the weight which is what you want. The kinking of the cornstalks really helps them break down over the summer without burying them. All residue still between the rows and attached, not blowing. You can leave stalks taller at harvest and over the winter and not have to take them into the combine at bean harvest. Rolling is one of those things, as Newguy points out, that can increase your profit by reducing costs and without necessarily increasing yield.
