Nothing in the lease about flood damage. And I did talk to them after the flood, they told me to work around it because they wouldnt do anything about it then.

So I needed to spend 10,000 to 30,000 to repair and remove debri and sand from land thats not mine! If I had a 5 yr lease I would of thought about it, but its a 1 yr lease, has been for 10 years.

Now, if you rented a house from someone and it flooded the basement, do you expect the landlord to replace the furnace, hotwater heater? ofcourse you do! This is no different.
