I would almost argue that point. In these days of auto steer and variable rate, you need to have your best person on the important equipment. I`m one that has to be here (combine right now). The technology has improved speed in up- links to where the office can go with you. Auto steer takes the pressure off driving, your allowed to watch equipment, make calls (unless your in Nebraska- no dang service) and do your business. Plus your not paying somebody to do a halfa$$ed job. The wages of a hired man will put all the guidance I need in a machine in one year and it`s gravy after that.
