Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | We usually make a specific cable for the situation and then only include the pins which are necessary.
We buy 9 pin male to 9 pin female extension cables from a supply house. We use a nipper to clip off all the male pins but 2, 3 & 5. If you screw up you're not out much and you often need the extra length in a combine anyway. This would be Torn's option 2.
I think this is the best way for you to go.
