Centre county Pennsylvania, USA
Sounds promising, but I don't believe anyone needs to fund a satellite to bring satellite broadcast CORS MAX RTK to farmers. Commercial communication satellites are already on-orbit and selling transponder bandwidth to anyone that needs transponder service.

At least one of the new block GPS satellites is also on-orbit, only 23 more to go before GPS service can fully enjoy the technical benefits of new generation GPS. When that day finally arrives, we will know if new generation GPS can bring same benefits to farmers that Leica's internet broadcast CORS MAX RTK does today. Moving those broadcasts from internet to satellite seems like the next logical upgrade. I'm not a bean counter, but I'd think that move can be made quickly and with relatively low budget, as compared to a full constellation of new block GPS satellites. Of course that does take political will, that might be the show stopper for satellite broadcast CORS MAX RTK service to farmers.
