I think they have to do it. It will really annoy the loyal Deere dealers who have spent hundreds of thousands (maybe millions) putting in their private stations, but in the end their customers will demand it. Deere won't be able to match the competition with Network based Glonass or MAX for some years but most farmers will feel GPS over VRS will be good enough.
