NE SD

Ron, there is one in SD about 30 miles from our house.

It's not better than RTK. Less accurate than a local base station, and when you start to look at paying data plans on 3-4 machines per year you're nearly back paying for SF2/Omnistar which is one of the main things we were going for when going to RTK. Doesn't take that long to pay for your own base at that rate.

The only reason it sounds so sweet on this site is because of the CORS bandwagon boys doing so much beating of their chests. Agboy pretty much has it nailed. When it goes down it might take the DOT several days or more to get something like that fixed depending on what day it is, etc. The government is SLOOOOW. If our RTK base goes down, it will take a trip to the dealership to get the replacement part.
