You can leave the coulters on for planting into tilled ground if you want. We have been planting some of our ground that way for more than 10 years and never had any problems.

I don't think the coulters on or off in worked ground is really going to make that much difference.

Instead, I would recommend concentrating on planting depth, seeds per acre, and seed spacing. Make sure to get those things correct first. JMHO.
