Subject: RE: Newbe planter question

Danville, Illinois
I have a 7200 vac with the keeton fimers. I have been very interested in the e-set disks offered by Precision Planting. I may not be able to afford the row cleaners for another year.

I plan on planting corn after the one pass soil finisher and notilling my beans with the same planter but doubling back to get 15" row spacing for beans. I currently have a 4430 as a do-all tractor. But this thing drinks the fuel. A smaller unit like the 2950 with MFWD and a 359ci engine should be a whole lot easier on fuel.

also, do the Keetons work ok for beans?? I had a guy tell me that his Keetons worked good for corn but they would bulldoze his bean seeds.
