I have never seen the savings on hybrids. On 3.00 gas it would take you 5 years to get your money back on the extra cost of the car. Now if gas goes to 4.00 things change some. Just seems to me you are taking on more maintenance too but dont know about that. I am like you they should be getting more mileage seems like.
