| Gotta agree on the dangerous part of breathing the fumes. Before I knew better, I worked in an enclosed area for several hours 15+ years ago with a lot of the fumes present and thought I was gonna die about 12 hours or so later (extremely high fever, horrible shakes and shivvers, and still feeling like I was freezing to death). Something you don't want to experience. Lasted about 6-8 hours if I remember right, but do to the uncontrollable shaking I experienced, every muscle in my body was sore for several days following. On a side note, now anytime I work around galvanized metal where fumes might be present -- I drink MILK, and that's not something I regularly do. It will help offset the effects of small amounts of inhaled fumes, but is not a cure-all for being stupid and breathing large amounts of that crap. |
