Just some additional warning (maybe not for you, but someone may read this that doesn't have experance with welding/cutting galvanized). Galvanized gives off fumes that can kill a person or pet. Useing a blower and doing the activity outside can help a lot, but don't breath the fumes. Here is a whole thread on it, it helps to hear others poisening stories and head the warning that one can NOT be too careful when welding/cutting on galvanized material. http://www.shopfloortalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3315 

I have heard about the fumes being harmfull, but the thread above, put a different light on being carefull around it. Be carefull - the fumes can kill you . . . .
