Brazilton KS
We started with the filters which came on the used ESAB, then installed a coaleaser which supposedly would remove anything down to sub atomic size (well, not quite), then installed a toilet-paper type filter, then installed a $300 super duper purple filter that would definitely work.   I won't say none of them were better then what was there before, but I wouldn't really say any of them were massively better, either.   Air is compressed outside by a compressor with an auto drain, goes through a second tank with a manual drain which is blown off frequently, then goes into internal overhead plumbing which has numerous water traps which are blown off regularly.  All of this plumbing is large (staring at 2" and working down to 3/4") so the air is not moving with any velocity to keep water out of the drip legs.
