You must not read all my posts then but back to the topic at hand.

Do you own a 5.3 in a suburban that you can debate my view point in it's application?

Sure it's probably wonderful in a half ton 2wd pickup with a light box on the back that probably doesn't have much except a spare tire in it most the time.

If your happy with it, thats good. Till you have what I have to logically and intelligably argue it though, It is a gutless wonder and that is fact.

Look at computer program upgrades for the 5.3 engine. Maximum hp rating increase they can give those engines is a minimal amount. IIRC less than a 20 hp boost from stock.

Those engines are already being sent loose from the factory at the top end of thier power availbility. No room to speak of to improve.

But hell, what do I know, I seldom have anything good to say about anything now don't I?
