thats a very well discussed subject, we too have drilled beans and done 15 in planter beans all no-till it's a toss up but the planted ones come up better and more even MOST of the time. But not all practices work everywhere you need to go with what works best in your area and will you use the drill for anythng else than beans? we liked the drill( GP) becasue we could run faster. But that is just us we have neighbors laugh and say why dont u kick it up a gear?LOL with the planter we try to stay about 5 to 6 mph. go with what works best Bob
