Subject: Drill verses Planting no-till beans

North East Missouri
We having been planting 15" rows and drill beans against each other for the last ten years in no-till. Planting beans you use less beans than the drill. In a normal year both are about the same yield. In a drier year the 7" drill beans yield 5 to 10 bushel more than the planted beans. We use a 15ft GP and 6300 White planter. We are thinking of getting a bigger drill. What is every one's thoughts and their experience. Thanks.
