Similar results here except not as long of a history. Probably 3-4 years now planting(30inch) vs drilled(7.5inch). Planted have always yielded similar or better than drilled until 07 when it was extrememly dry. Drilled clearly outperformed last year. That being said, I'm still using the 30's next year. I like to be able to spray and not run so many down. I also think I get better emergence with row beans. That was the first year they didn't keep up. Plus I can get more done quicker w/12 row planter than our 15'drill.
