West Union, IOWA FLOLO Farm 52175
Thanks for all the info but your making more ?'s for me 8)

I mentioned Chorme bars this morning while pricing and thye just about chastized me, again pulling from local experance I guess on that one. They kept hammering the fact about chipping from what they've seen in the past, basically the same arguement they have against the hardfacing, You run even the smallest rock in and they're going to chip.

Do you have any concern about the chipping aspect?

We had the luxury of even cleaning the Rock trap on 1 guy's corn this year so rock damage is more a concern then wear. I tried to get a price on Lowen black bars at Deere this morning thru A&I since I've bought other A&I stuff and they didn't seem interested, but it sounds like I might have to bypass and try newbie at the part's counter since he seem's to like to shaow the other guy's up--loran
