Slicker than a Yes album.
We've never really rolled everything, just the peat to firm things up before planting. This bottom field is one of the worst that I've seen. (It's about 60 or so acres) We made the mistake the fall before of ripping it too deep. This year it will be hit with the digger to work in the urea and planted. I like this riteway more than the degelman, little heavier and larger pipe (45"? I think compared to the D'mans 36".) It also had hyd wing wheels that made it easier to unfold.

As you can see in the picture, the soil was billowing just like ocean waves. It firmed up nice, but it was a load for the 8110. A few times, the peat rolled up and over the center roller. More guys here have taken to rolling all bean acres. I think with a lot of rocks, it'd pay. We never took the time to do any yield tests. (BTW, this roller works great for green peas!)

Also, I don't know what happened with the picture, I think I was nearing the end of the roll, thus the red stripe.
