NWIL
I've found a couple times now that after a long couple days of running a combine, I've jumped in my pickup and almost had a few incidents involving the right hand reaching for the hydro lever to slow up. Every time the mind has been going a million miles an hour, but the eyes and body are tired and you're just kinda driving. Worst time was back when I was still in college, put in lots of hours over that weekend picking corn and got back to school about 1:30 am on Sunday night. Driving into town I came up to a yellow light, reached up to slow down, saw it wasn't responding, so I pulled back a little more. Only when I about plowed into the back of the flatbed in front of me did I REALLY wake up and remove foot from go pedal and put it on stop pedal. Had no problems staying with it the final 6-8 blocks to my apartment.
