I have the j bunks as well as tractor tires on a slab. Kind of a pain to have to go in the lot but the calves really seem to like the tires better and very little waste. I do have the occasional calf that wants to climb in the tires but doesn't really seem to cause any problems. They are also very easy to clean with the loader.
