Brian, yes they won't go away. last year I had rye sowed in a wheat field for cover. they grazed it off like cattle I went out to find them in the stubble and they weren't there , they where in the green cover chewing away . PLanted that corn early and it got a head of them. Alfalfa seedlings in wheat stubble , look out. I try to pui all my seedings in fall chopped corn silage. All they slimmy critters are in the bag for protien, Last yr I had beans standing beside rye in corn silage ground they chewed in the firet two rows at places. I kill every one i see. I love after a rain and they crawl onto my sidewalks. BYE BYE
